Terms of service

These terms apply when you use Arik Marketplace (market.arikhub.com) and other Arik Hub websites. By using them, you agree to these terms.

1. What Arik does

Arik Marketplace helps people find local businesses, service providers and sellers, and contact them directly. Arik is not a party to any deal between buyers and sellers. Prices, quality, delivery and payment for goods and services are agreed between you and the other person.

2. Your account

• You must be 18 or older and give true information.
• Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• One free trial period is allowed per person, phone number or email.

3. Listings and adverts

You are responsible for what you post. It must be true, legal and yours to sell. The following are not allowed:

• Drugs, weapons, stolen or fake goods.
• Nudity or sexual content.
• Scams, misleading prices or false claims.
• Content that harms, threatens or discriminates against others.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules, without notice.

4. Plans and payments

• Businesses get a free trial, and vendors a free day. Paying after that is optional and never automatic.
• Plans are paid with EcoCash from your dashboard. Arik will never call or message you asking for money, and never asks for your PIN.
• When a plan ends, your listing may stay visible but contact buttons are paused until you renew.
• Payments for plans already used are not refundable, except where the law requires.

5. Safety

Meet in safe public places, check goods before paying, and never send money to someone you have not verified. Report suspicious listings using the Report button.

6. Limits of responsibility

Arik is provided “as is”. We work to keep it available and safe, but we cannot guarantee it will always be error-free, and we are not responsible for losses from deals between users. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Zimbabwean law.

7. Changes and ending

We may update these terms or the service. You may stop using Arik and ask us to delete your account at any time.

8. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe.
